Silly Days 2013

I just wanted to squeeze in a little bit about Silly Days before it leaves. Now a main event of Silly Days was Tink's Joke Show (that's what I've nicknamed it) I managed to catch it and see all it's participants.

They were...

• Beck
• Dulcie
• Sweet Pea
• Tabby
• Terence
• Vidia

It was funny to see Vidia onstage telling jokes like the rest of them. Oh how sour she was...

Beck

Beck has the body of an average fairy but her face is.. different than others. She is an Animal-Talent Expert.

Dulcie

Dulcie arrived many seasons ago and is wearing her trademark bakers costume that so many fairies have had the opportunity to buy. She is a Baking-Talent Expert.

Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea is a fairy many would recognize for she is always posting news on the Never News section along with Marina. She is a Garden-Talent Expert.

Tabby

Tabby is famous for her question-and-answer column on the Never News. She is a Story-Writing- Talent Expert.

Terence

Terence is the only one that is shown as a 3D Sparrow Man and his background is different. He is a Dust-Keeper-Talent Expert.

Tinker Bell

Tinker Bell is possibly the most famous fairy of all. She is a Mentor to all Tinker-Talents.

Vidia

Vidia is the fastest fairy in Pixie Hollow. Her attitude however, needs much improvement. She is a Fast-Flying-Talent Expert.

Queen's Boutique - Golden Flutter Gown

Hello everyone!

My apologies, I haven't been updating. Everyone in the Hollow has been aiding the bunnies prepare for Easter. Lately, I have been up early every day to help the animal and art-talents with the eggs! How busy we have all been...

A few days ago, a new gown arrived at the Boutique.

Golden Flutter Gown

It's a lovely thing called the Golden Flutter Gown. I actually quite like this gown, even though yellow isn't my best colour... I have to say that this gown reminds me a lot of the butterfly inspired dresses re-released last year. I'm sure our light-talent fairy friends are just delighted in a gorgeous golden gown, we don't see too many of those...

Here is the gown close up. I'm not quite sure why it shows myself with a member background and pin when I am not a member... I do like the extreme detail in the top; it's absolutly stunning. However, I must say, the prices are much too high! I (as a non-member) will not pay 200 diamonds for a dress, no matter how pretty it is! Thanks a lot, Never Council.

Oh yes, another semi-new dress was released a couple weeks ago. Here it is.

It's quite pretty but again, 260 diamonds is outrageous! Members get it cheaper, duh. This whole thing is just sad. Members got almost half off this dress! They get to save diamonds in diamonds-only shops. I get it. I know that many Members complained about this but what about us? The non-members? We have to pay full price! It's almost like Membership is a VIP thing. Just flash your pin and you get special treatment. I'm also upset that they took away the "privilege" of giving gifts from non-members.

*sigh*

March Fashion Spotlight

Hey everyone! This is Minerva covering March's Fashion Spotlight! There sure were a lot of fashionable fairies this month and the Top 10 servers were crowded. Luckily, I was able to see Marina. I wasn't really hoping to be featured, I just wanted a glance.

Look at all these hopeful fashionistas!

They definitely added a splash of color to our current dreary grey scenery. Marina's sitting in the center standing out in her blue outfit.

Pixie Hair Preview

Hey everyone!
So sorry I haven't updated for a while. I was busy... -.- Anyway, I collected some new images of the (not-so) new hair, Queen's dress, and Post Office Fashions! Here's the latest from Sweet Pea...

Hi pixie pals! Hope everyone is having a flitterific time at the Fairy Friendship Festival! I am so excited to bring you a sneak peek at two new hairstyles coming to Schelly's Hair Salon  next Thursday. There will also be a new Sparrow Man style coming out that day, too!  What do you think of these two looks? 

Also, just a friendly reminder: this is the last weekend of the Fairy Friendship Festival. Be sure to earn the badge and pick up Tink's quest before Tuesday. Bake-off winners will be posted next week!

Yay! How awesome! New hair... :) Of course they already came out so I had to show some pictures of myself modeling these new hairs... He-he..

First up.. the Curly Ringlets hairstyle:

I really liked the look of this one. It was kind of wild but I liked the general look of it. It doesn't look too great on me thought... I admit it. -.- I paired the Curly Ringlets front and back together (duh) and dyed my hair Chocolate Brown with Custard Yellow highlights. I also found that the Curly Ringlets front looked pretty with the Star Strands back and the Swift and Swooshy back. 

Next up... the Fishtail Braid style:

I found that putting this one alone with no hair back... well... it looked really flat. So I paired this one with Spike's Hair Back because it was the shortest one to give the hair more volume. This one doesn't look too good on me either. As you know, I paired the Fishtail Braid front and Spike's Hair back together and dyed my hair Custard Yellow with Sparrow Brown highlights.

Lastly.. the Poufy Pigtail hair:

I actually don't look too bad for once! :D I didn't put a back for this one; it looked good enough. Well I dyed the hair Driftwood Brown with Strawberry Red highlights. End result: Not bad if I do say so myself. I found that this one also worked well with the Curly Ringlets back.
